Launched in 2022, the Access Program strives to improve access to the Boilermaker’s namesake second-weekend-in-July events by reducing financial barriers. We strongly believe that running and road racing can change lives and no one should be excluded.
The program provides a select number of runners facing financial hardship with complimentary entry into any event, including the world-renowned 15K and 5K road races, in addition to footwear and training assistance, through partnerships with Wolfspeed and The Sneaker Store.
How to Apply
Interested applicants can download the application and fill it out digitally or print the application and fill it out by hand. Paper copies are available at the Boilermaker offices located at 805 Court Street in Utica, NY.
Completed applications can be submitted:
- In an email to community@boilermaker.com
- Mailed to Boilermaker Road Race, ATTN: Access Program, P.O. Box 512, Utica, NY 13503
- Physically returned to our offices at 805 Court Street, Utica, NY 13502
- Given to the local organization that shared the program with you
