The Boilermaker Walk presented by Slocum-Dickson Medical Group is a great way to get out and moving while being a part of the Boilermaker Experience!
The Boilermaker Walk starts and finishes on the beautiful MVCC Utica campus. Walk through Utica’s Parks, which were funded by the Proctor family and designed by the Olmsted’s (Frederick Sr. & Jr.), and turn around at designated markers for a 1, 2, 3, or 3.75-mile walk. Before and/or after your walk, join the festivities of the Boilermaker’s Health & Wellness Expo presented by MVHS on the quad and in the Jorgensen Field House of the MVCC campus.

Distance & Course:
Choose your own distance! Markers along the course will indicate where to turn around for a 1, 2, 3, or 3.75-mile walk. All walks will visit T.R. Proctor Park while the 3.75-mile walk will continue on to F.T. Proctor Park. Bikes will be leading the way and following behind the pack.
Important Notes:
The Walks start promptly at 11:00am! To ensure your safety and the safety of all participants at street crossings and throughout the courses, we cannot accommodate anyone who shows up late. Like a road race, the starting gun waits for no one.
The terrain is varied and there is a strict one-hour and 45-minute time limit. Please ensure you can cover your desired distance within the allotted time.
This is a rain-or-shine community event. It will not be rescheduled due to weather.

The Boilermaker Walk will start promptly at 11am on Saturday, July 12, 2024, just beyond the MVCC track near the corner of Sherman Drive and the Memorial Parkway.
To ensure your safety and the safety of all participants at street crossings and throughout the courses, we cannot accommodate anyone who shows up late. If you arrive after 11:05am, you will not be permitted to start the Walk.
You can pick up your commemorative Walk Bib on Friday, July 11, 2025 from noon to 7 p.m. or on Saturday, July 12th, 2025 from 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., in the Performance Gym on the MVCC campus. You will receive your Finisher’s Pin as you cross the Finish Line.
With your registration, you’ll receive a commemorative bib, exclusive collectible Walk pin, and water stops and educational guides along the course.
